Clacton Camera Club is Clacton's oldest photographic club. Formed in 1939, the club continues its ethos of making friends through photography, and it is just as much a social body as a photographic one. The club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography, whatever their skill level or medium they use, be it film or digital. We provide a friendly atmosphere on a Friday evening combining competitions with guest speakers, members' workshops, fun events and demonstrations. Many of our members are highly experienced photographers and are happy to advise and assist newcomers. Please take a moment to browse our pages and, if you would like to come along to any of our meetings, you will be most welcome.
WINNING IMAGES 2019/20
You can now view those images that have scored 9 points or above in our Open competitions, together with those that have been placed or highly commended in our other internal competitions, eg Portrait, Natural History etc. Please note that links will only activated after the competition has taken place. In view of the further developments in the advice being issued by the government, the committee has decided to suspend all CCC meetings until at least the end of March. At that point, the decision will be reviewed. In the meantime, please keep an eye on your email in-box and/or this page on our website for any further updates.
We sincerely hope that everyone manages to stay well and look forward to a resumption of normal life in the not too distant future
