Members' Workshops

During our season which runs from September - May each year, we would normally run workshops on a variety of subjects, including knowing the basics of your camera, working in mono etc - the subjects are determined by demand. Unfortunately, we have been forced to suspend these for the foreseeable future, due to a current lack of demand. It is hoped that we may be able to resume the workshops in the not too distant future.

Being a member entitles you to attend the evening workshops that are of interest to you, helping you to develop your photographic skills.

Clacton Camera Club is Clacton's oldest photographic club. Formed in 1939, the club continues its ethos of making friends through photography, and it is just as much a social body as a photographic one. The club welcomes anyone who has an interest in photography, whatever their skill level or medium they use, be it film or digital. We provide a friendly atmosphere on a Friday evening combining competitions with guest speakers, members' workshops, fun events and demonstrations. Many of our members are highly experienced photographers and are happy to advise and assist newcomers. Please take a moment to browse our pages and, if you would like to come along to any of our meetings, you will be most welcome.
